Despite their essential contribution, these companies often operate on very tight margins and face frequent financial difficulties. As a result, nearly 10,000 construction companies go bankrupt every year.
Graneet is a SaaS platform designed to help construction SMEs protect their profitability by enabling them to manage their business through margin, in real time. Today, we support over 500 companies — and they’re loving it.
Having raised more than €10 million, we’re now fully equipped to meet our ambitions: strengthen our position in the French market and soon become the go-to platform for construction SMEs in France and across Europe 🚀.
🤝 The Team 🤝
The Sales department is structured into two teams: the SDR team, which generates qualified business opportunities, and the Account Executive team, responsible for product demos and closing deals.
As part of our growth, we're launching operations in Spain 🇪🇸 this year to accelerate Graneet’s expansion into new markets.
We’re looking for an experienced Business Developer based in Barcelona or Madrid, to work closely with our VP Sales Raffaello your manager. You’ll play a key role in identifying the specific needs of the Spanish market before actively selling our solution to drive our growth there.
🎯 Your Missions 🎯
- As the first sales hire for the Spanish market, you’ll be pivotal in our expansion by developing our local presence from the ground up.
- You’ll actively prospect and engage with leads in the construction industry.
- You’ll conduct product demos with construction company leaders, project managers, and CFOs, clearly demonstrating how our solution improves profitability.
- You’ll collaborate closely with our Product team by sharing market feedback and feature needs to adapt our solution to the Spanish market.
- You’ll negotiate and close deals, tailoring your pitch to specific business needs.
- You’ll manage your sales pipeline with precision and consistency.
💎 Who You Are 💎
- You are fluent in English and you are native in Spanish
- You have at least 5 years of experience in B2B sales, including prospecting and closing.
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are excited to take on the challenge of launching a new market for Graneet.
- You’re comfortable with outbound strategies and know how to build a pipeline from scratch.
- You can confidently speak to multiple stakeholders (CEOs, CFOs, admin staff) and adapt your message accordingly.
- You’re organized and structured: you handle your sales cycles efficiently while keeping a clean CRM.
- You’re curious and have an interest in both construction and tech. Previous experience in the sector is a plus.
- You’re ready to start your first month in Paris for your onboarding ( we will pay for accommodation and flight ticket)

- HR Interview with Victoria, Head of People (45 min)
- Motivation interview with your future manager Raffaello (1 hour)
- Business case to assess your job-related skills with Raffaello (1 hour)
- Two reference checks
- One meeting with Jean-Gabriel and a member of the Executive Committee (1 hour), followed by an informal chat with two team members (1 Customer Success, 1 Account Executive)

💸 Career Growth & Compensation 💸
- Each role has a transparent salary range by level. These bands are reviewed annually using Figures to benchmark against the market. Our goal is to pay above 60% of the market.
- You’ll always be aligned with your level’s salary band.
- For this role, the base salary ranges from €30k to €40k depending on your experience, with an attractive and uncapped commission plan.
- Your annual salary review will be based on performance and your positioning within the salary band.
